Our aim is to discuss the current state of neuromorphic olfaction, relate it to the state of the art in machine olfaction, explore the links to olfaction research in humans and animals. We could also discuss the development of neuromorphic/event-based gas sensors, sensor technologies. Special interest could be devoted to gas sensor datasets and their quirks. We hope that these discussions will inform hands-on work ongoing during the workshop involving gas sensing and gas-based robotic navigation.
